My H's OW will be coming into the area on business and I would like to make it clear to her that I know of her existence and would appreciate it if she left my H alone. He has assured me he will "keep it professional", but I am afraid that since they haven't seen eachother for 2 1/2 months that the flame may rekindle.

I've already sent her a note two weeks ago explaining what I know and what I expect, but she never responded (I didn't expect her to anyway) so I don't know where she stands in this.

I have both her e-mail address and phone#, but I don't want to seem like a nutty wife. At the same time I feel a strong need to speak with her and lay all the cards out on the table. What to do???

Thanks so much...
Bronwen

If you have emailed her once then she knows that you want your marriage. No need to contact her again. Concentrate on your husband, not OW!
I believe that you said she is married too. Did you let her H know about the affair or plans to hook up?

What is your H going to do to protect himself from temptation while OW is in town?

PS .... don't email her or contact her ... there is no "THERE" there. Pointless. Makes a bigger mess.

Ask your H how he is going to protect you, himself and the M ..... make this something you can accomplish together.

I haven't told the OW's H about the relationship. I don't know if I could do that. I don't know him and therefore don't know how to gauge how he would handle such a disclosure.

I don't know what telling him would accomplish anyway. They have four small kids and I'd hate to be the bearer of bad news. Moreover, is it really my place to divulge this information?

I appreciate the advice regarding not re-contacting the OW herself. I suppose I'm going a little nuts trying to get this all over and done with (even though I know it should be up to my husband to make that happen). Maybe I'm just trying to prevent myself from being hurt further. I really don't know.

Part of me really wants to see him to prove himself without any intervention from me, but I'm scared to think what may happen if I don't get involved.

Thanks again for listening to my ramblings...I'm trying to get it together here!
