This is for BHs out there. Others, feel free to jump in.

Do any of you feel that this is leading to a mid-life crisis?

I am 35, and my wife of 10 years had a 1-time sexual encounter with a man she was becoming close to. Even though I have 2 beautiful daughters, I feel that I am developing a “wondering eye”. And to add to it, there is a woman at work that I am attracted to, and she has begun to make subtle advances at me. Timing could not be worse.

Plus, I wonder about past relationships, did I choose the wrong “one”? Does my W feel she chose the wrong one? Some days, I feel that I have wasted my best years. Is this normal? Need advice, please.

I know it is a little slow on the weekends, so I gotta give this a bump.

HinIT,

Common but by no means normal. Questioning one's choices happens to many. Wandering eyes happens a lot. Should that be normal? Hm..... do you mean that if it is normal it is a good thing? Well if so, then yes but s/b? No. At least not IMHO.

Yet I can understand how you are feeling. You have been deserted and feel others may appreciate you more. Before you take that irrevocable step, look at what you have and what you may lose.

Then decide. Many of us have been there. Yet we are here.

L.
