Hi,

This is a quick post that I feel may be helpful. Nothing like a real life experience to see what can work. Please read the excerpts below.

The message below is an extract of what was sent to a e-mail service provider:

Dear e-mail service provider,

The IP info above was received from a person who has previously threatened my family. As you can see, there is suppose to be an affair
going on and I have chosen NOT to be in the middle of it. My husband
has been informed of this message and it is his decision to deal with
it. I choose not to receive or communication with this woman at all.
Just for the record, this is about the 5th time I have reported to
abuse
hotlines from Yahoo, Hotmail and even Ebay. Yep, she tracked us down
even on Ebay. Can you believe it?

While her message below sounds semi sane, her verbal threats are not
being taken lightly. Therefore, I respectfully request her e-mail be
shut down. I have already blocked her e-mail address from this
particular address but she also has my work e-mail address and I can
not
block her from that one.

Once again, I am asking for your assistance. I am sorry there are such
psycho people in this world. My husband is now feeling the regret of
having any association with this woman. Please do what you can to
ensure she doesn't use this e-mail of offend me and my family. Right
now we are on vacation so you can imagine how I am feeling.

Thanks for your kind attention,
Orchid

<strong>Here is their response:

In this particular case, we have taken appropriate action against the
"e-mail service provider"! account in question, as per our Terms of Service (TOS).

Please know that "e-mail service provider"! is unable to disclose the action taken on
another user's account with a third party. We are not able to make
exceptions to this rule."</strong>

So this is an example to let others know of this option. Notice this is not the first time this was done. Also NO communication with the OW was forthcoming from myself. This is critical since the priority now is the protection of myself and family. When an OP sticks themselves out of a limb to make any type of advances to the Ws' family, then the family has the right to take legal and moral action. However we live by laws that most OPs don't adhere to making it sometimes difficult, but be patient. In time the BS can take appropiate action as needed.

So my advice for the BS to be patient, pray for a clear mind and a calm heart still stands. It is not an easy road.

The conditions as to what caused this to happen is not important.....at least not as much as it once was. The important things in life will always be there. It is more important to be able to identify what those most important things are ASAP and then work on them.

To you new MBers, you will hear the above info repeated to you over and over until it finally makes sense. Don't beat yourselves over your head about not getting it right away. Your heart and mind need to be in sync and that just takes time. All the more reason for cultivating patience.

One piece of info I gave my H was that I no longer needed to be part of any games being played or manipulated. No need to fool me, since the A will 'always' manifest itself. It can never hide forever.

So being patient has it's benefits. I know it is hard for many a BS to be patient while their lives are being ripped apart. But be fearless not fearful. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />

Orchid Off-topic--

Thought you might like to know you are in a thread on EN:

I used it for lack of a better word to describe people like Orchid on the GQII board for instance. </font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">http://www.marriagebuilders.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=8;t=017328;p=4

Since I did post on the thread I'd feel like chopped liver, except I'm falling SO behind you in posts!
