Something that is seldom touched upon is how false recoveries can permanently damage a BS emotional wellbeing. Regardless of whether the marriage survives or not, the BS MUST go through his/her own personal recovery in order to move on with his/her life, and false recoveries are nothing but a setback to that recovery. It may take a BS longer to finally recover and thus miss an opportunity to build a meaningful relationship with another person. Rely on the facts before you, NOT on wishful thinking from your part.

Are you saying we should not be judgemental about this OM with 12 plus prior affairs based solely on what we think we know about him?
Is "sexual predator" judgemental? Is it accurate? Would you trust his word regardless of his track record?
