Well, the OW is definitely gone. Whether temporarily or permanently, I can't say. But H does not look like happy camper. I expect he is presenting it as a temporary situation, whatever the reality, but of course the inside rumor is that it's been on the fritz for awhile.

He seems to be avoiding me in public. Looks puffy, overweight, unhappy. I have no news that he's moved out of OW's house. He doesn't have the savoir-faire to know when an A is over, and won't do the gentlemanly thing of moving out before he is thrown out. Because NC with OW was in the PBL, I'm still in an NC obligation.

Why is he avoiding me? Is it because he's got some agreement with her to NC me? I don't avoid him in public, but don't seek him out, either. I just stay out of the way in a natural sort of way. He seems to be hiding.

Shall I assume everything is over in M? I haven't heard from him, and after two weeks of this, I suspect I won't. He's leaving the country for a trip in another couple weeks -- Cerri said it was "alright" to send a short note asking if he would like to reconsider our position. "Alright" -- but I'm not sure it's the right thing to do. Just don't know how I feel at this point.

Any advice? I'm busy, but tense. It's horrible to think of being an option because you are the only one left standing. Kind of like coming in as a runner-up to a frog.

Also, some stuff has come up about the sale of the house -- some history that only he knows. I'm trying to find ways to avoid contacting him -- I'd really rather not, but it's awkward.

In the emotional world, he's really a klutz, but insists on being a player. It's like he's got the uniform, and the mitt, and he's standing on the field, but he doesn't know how to play.

Your plan B letter is to put final closure and to protect your feeling. Do you want to go there again ?.

Not really. Of course, some of me wants him back, much of me wants him gone. All of me thinks a crash-and-burn would be real good for him right now. Of course, he could just stagger into another A.

Cerri wasn't advising -- acting on my question, she said it would be okay. So it's kind of up to me. Seeing absolutely no sign of encouragement -- he could be in withdrawal -- I'm hesitate to stir the pot.

I'm just tailspinning with the forced passivity.
