And I love her, 2!

We had a convo this morning. A very nice, upbeat convo. And I've considered cerri's viewpoint about discussing our personal Ms on the boards. I have decided, as of 2day, after this post, I am not going 2 discuss private matters between my W and I that might give readers the wrong impression of how we're getting along. Besides, I can talk 2 HER about private stuff between us. That's a big step. I don't feel in "crisis mode" any longer, but I'm still learning, so I'll keep on postin'. Just not private stuff about my M. Anecdotal stuff is okay, as is general pro-M stuff, though. And I will try, 2 the best of my abilities, 2 be of help 2 others when I can. Obviously, I will draw from my own experiences when I try 2 help out.

We're definitely in recovery now. We call it that. We've got a lot of work 2 do, still, but hopefully the worst of the heartburn is behind us now.

This morning before the alarm went off, out of the blue, my W asked me what I was thinking about. I answered, and she told me "I was just thinking about how much I really love you."

That's it. No more private stuff!

I would be impressed if it were somebody dumb (like me) that did so well, but I EXPECTED you to do well.

Actualy, I should quit teasing you and just tell you that I respect and admire what you have been able to acomplish. You could have quit, but you did not. I think that tells what kind of man you are more than anything I could say.

I don't think that's private stuff. I just saw a commerical where a guy yelled out in the middle of a town square that he loved his GF. She was embaressed as all get up, so then he gave her a ring...... of course it was by DeBeers (no not da' beer), the diamond guys.

Anyway, I am happy to see your post. How are you all doing by the way? Are you affected by all that smoke down south?

first, ♥ ♥ ♥ i'm happy for you!!!

second, if it wasn't for you and spacecase and all of the sharing of your personal stuff i never would have gotten the insight into how an affair affects the betrayed husband that i needed...

unfortunately i am in crisis mode at the moment... i'm sure my husband would agree with cerri... can you point me to a thread where cerri lays out her point of view?...

thanks...

All:

Thanks for the applause! It is cool, even though it is recovery and I realize there will be bumps ahead. I've still got some "issues" , as does she, but I don't think they're fatal 2 the M anymore.

Oaktown: I'm not positive where cerri posts that. She told me offline. I'll look around, or she can post here if she sees this.

Happy Halloween, everybody! ...I got in2 work, and NOBODY had any satanic cookies or anything! Some decorations, though, and *I* am wearing a new "Nightmare before Christmas" t-shirt

golf clap

before golf became so huge a decade or so ago, the rowdiest of spectator galleries would applaud very quietly to be sure to not disturb other golfers somewhere else on the course.

For me, it'd be Monopoly. But only 30 years ago.

These days, I resent that there's any such thing as "sports news" (an oxymoron). They can put it on at 4am though. That was bad enough, then along came these stupid "survivor" and "bachelor" or "bachelorette" shows.

The human race has at least 3 million years of evolution ahead of it before it's "worthy."

End of discussion!
