How many people had a spouse leave for another and had their spouse actually come back and they are living together as a married couple?

Your selection is too generic.
Moved back and happy is relative and subject to change. Remember the fog does not burn off right away. Also recovery can go backwards a bit at times.
But I voted anyways. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" /> What are you doing to do with this data?

I agree that it's too generic, but it's still better than nothing. One of these days I'm going to design a good poll for this stuff and try to get everyone here to answer.
Unless this has already been done somewhere and I just don't know where the results are?

i'm trying to get a feel for what usually happens when a spouse leaves. I've been reading SO many posts on this board, but it seems as though no spouse returns after they have left (kind of depressing since my wife is out of the home now). I'm interested in reading success stories, stories of a wife leaving and saying "I will never love you" only to have her come back and truly work on the marriage. I'm interested in finding out about what happens to the one involved in the affair. The website has a little bit of information, but how often does the WS actually marry the other person? What usually happens with that relationship? I have emailed the faciliators on this and they are considering it. But it would be nice to read about nothing but success stories, how the various plans worked for them, what happened with the other person invovled, and things like that.

solon, check out the "In Recovery" forum. That's a better place, maybe, to post this question. Good luck!

solon ~
My husband moved out for 18 months. We've been in recovery since August 2001. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />
