I wanted to wish everyone a happy holiday, and also to thank all of you who've responded to my threads these past 14 months. Your support means a lot to me!

What are you thankful for? During a traumatic time such as dealing with infidelity, separation, or divorce, it's hard to think of what we're thankful for at times. I did want to list a few things for which I'm thankful.

I'm thankful for:
My faith in God, which sustains me through everything, both good and bad

My family- I'm fortunate to have my parents, still, and also to have loving children with whom I'm close...and brothers that I'm close with and love.

My exH- I'm thankful he's remained a helpful person who cares much for his children.

My friends- I have some very loyal, kind friends.
I'm thankful for my cyber 'friends', too. You're wonderful!

My job- It allows me to support my children in the same way they were supported financially before the marriage ended. It's rewarding, too, in that I'm helping others while I work.

My memories- I'm glad I was blessed with a long marriage, even though it did end. I'm happy to have fond memories of years together. Knowing that I did have a happy marriage at one time helps me to feel hopeful that it can happen in my life again.

Music and Art- Without it life would be much more colorless and empty.

I could go on and on, but I'll stop there!

Anyone else?

Take care,
H_P

Hi H-P.

I'm thankful for having all my loved ones (wife, daughters, and parents) and yours truly happy and healthy.

I'm also thankful for having found MB and the forums. I see so much wisdom and humanity here that I'm very humbled by it.

I truly am blessed.

Hi H_P and happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.

OK, I'll play, and in no particular order

I'm thankful for my two SDs and a wonderful caring family

I'm thankful for finding a decent man (wherever it may or may not go) who doesn't judge me for where I've been or what I've done and who's helped to heal the last piece of me (even though he doesn't know it )

I'm thankful for finding MB which truly saved me and helped me to see my own failings and those in my M with clarity and insight.

I'm thankful for all my friends, real and virtual

I'm thankful for my good health and the ability I have to travel and have some wonderful adventures

Have a great Turkey day y'all (gosh, perhaps I'm spending too much time with Yank BF!)

okay, I caught this thtread on Thanksgiving but didn't have the energy at the time to post my thoughts and feelings.

Given everything that i have gone through over the last year, I can honestly say that I am thankful for life.

I am thankful for the gift of myself. That is something that you all gave to me by allowing me to express my pain and fear and rage on this board.

I am thankful that I have a roof over mine and the children's head. I am thankful that at least THIS Christmas, I am still fortunate enough to give them a wonderful holiday filled with love, family, patience, and gifts.

I am thankful that God didn't give up on me, even when I gave up on me. He reached me when I had nothing left.

I am thankful for each lesson I learn because it's something I can use to help my children have a better life.

I'm thankful for all of you.
