My WH (2 PA and 1 EA in the past twelve years) is in IC and goes 2x/month. Whenever he has an appointment, I have to ask him about it -- he never brings up the subject. Yesterday he had another appointment. I asked him how it went, did he feel like it was helping, etc.? He mentioned a couple of things, said the therapist did most of the talking but he couldn't remember everything that they talked about. I WAS BUGGED!!

Is he just going through the motions? Is he tuning out the therapist? Are they discussing things he doesn't want me to know about? Are we wasting our money?

I haven't seen any difference in his behavior or attitude since starting IC. The only comments he shares from the therapist about their appointments is what I am doing wrong. My WH still wants to forget what he did and move on. He says he loves me and wants to stay in the marriage but won't talk about the "real" issues of the As and won't read any of the books I bought.

I am getting very frustrated and my pain/anger just won't go away, as much as I would love that to happen.
