I haven't gone through the whole thread, yet, but believe it or not, I am out of the woodwork. Had to register as SKM 2, but I'm still alive and kicking (or is it my toddler kicking me??)

I was trying to get together with Just Learning this week, too, but my baby has been sick and work has been nuts.

Anyway, I just saw some familiar names and thought I'd say hi. The little one is 14 1/2 months, and a real charmer, like his dad. But, he's also very, how do I put this, "determined," like his momma.

I don't post much, but someone by the name of Sarie saw a post in recovery from me, and she kind of drew me out of retirement.

Son't know how long I will lurk, but JL knows how to get a hold of me if you all get together again - a trip to the Zoo in the Spring would be fun.

And, I do have pictures, if anyone wants to see them!!! I unfortnately let my SKM email address expire, but I'll send them if you post your email address.

Oh, and by the way, H and I are doing great. Not a lot of together time, but we REALLY love our new family - oh and our new house - closer to DC.

Just J - you assumed correctly, we won't be there. We'll be stocking up on milk should there be a big snow storm <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" /> .

Just Learning said he'd be back in town in a couple of months, if you pin him down to a date, we'll try to make it (H, me, and S). But, we need a "loud" restaurant - in case S gets crazy - and probably not something too ethnic as son only eats french fries, pine apple, and chicken chunks. Although, he does like rice, but it has to have a non-spicey sauce. Spices sauces are a nightmare on his digestive system.

Anyway, I hope you all have fun. JL is a good conversationalist, and, as you know, is pretty laid back. When I first met him, I was expecting the old guy from the country time lemonade commercials. . .ha. He's not as old as I thought he was!!! Anyway, have fun and maybe next time. JL knows where to track me down.
