Well I finally figured out the problem. I have "old cow disease". My H raised two kids on his own, and needed someone to help. So we met and he knew I was the one. I helped raise these two from the time they were 7 and 10 until this year. I love to cook, like to stay home and was perfect for him.

His kids finally moved out. Then H decided that he was tired of the old cow. He needed a young one. He ran off with OW, who is 15 years younger. She left her H and daughter and runs wild with him. Now she is everything he always wanted.

My problem is that I am still the old cow and he now needs a young cow. He has moved on.

Now Believer, if you really believe THAT, than you also have to subscribe to the idea that he is FULL OF BULL, no? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />

How are you doing? How's Plan B treating you?

I'm doing fine again in Plan B. The contact I had with WH last week set me back a couple of weeks, but I'm getting back to normal. It was a huge setback for me. Surprising how one contact can be so bad. But the MB program warns about it.

I was so excited to hear from him, I didn't ask if OW was out of the picture. Well I learned my lesson because it was so painful.

So I am back in Plan B and trying to regain my peace of mind.

Glad to hear you've regained your peace of mind. No matter what he does, there needs to be a core of self-dignity. He isn't allowing you that right now if he is torn between OW and you.

Good to hear, Hon.

I don't in any way discount how VERY hard it is, I know to this day if I was to hear from my ex-H I'd be set back a few steps as well. No small potatas there.

The idea is to step back and simply observe the insanity, and not participate.

Best,
Jo

Believer,

First, I laughed and laughed. Here I was, entering this thread to read believer's analysis that Obsessive Compulsive Disorder was a major factor in her marriage and her H's A.

Second, I am glad you have moved back to the insulation of your Plan B and that it again seems to be giving you some peace. I know it did before and yes, any setback is major in terms of how we deal with it emotionally. I have had a couple of them myself.

Hold on tight. I am hoping your ride is coming to an end and your H really will end the A.

Hugs
