I was reading a response you made to cherylpa and I wondered,how did you manage to get a court order to keep WH from taking kids to his place of residence(other state) and more interstingly for me,how did you get an order to keep the OW from seeing your kids? Was it easy or was there a specific reason the court allowed that?

To my knowledge,the OM/OW has to be abusive in some way for an order like that,at least from what I have read.

I definitley DO NOT want my WH homewrecker around my children EVER if it could be prevented.That OW has placed a tremendous amount of anguish in this family(in-laws included) that's for sure.

I got that court order as part of a Protection from Abuse Order. I really didn't think I would, and even my lawyer was doubtful. However, after testifying about the drug paraphanalia and use that I witnessed at his apt, I think that is why I got it.
Besides, WH made a complete [censored] of himself at the hearing.
The protection order was in response to a one time incident when he came to the house to get the kids for his visit, and pushed his way in, saying that this was his house too, I had no papers saying it wasn't, he was going to spend the day here....blah, blah.
He ended up being physically abusive.
It scared me, because he never was before.
It worked out for me, because support was established, as well as the visitation restrictions.
He showed up with No lawyer, assuming this was going to be a case dismissed type thing. WRONG!
5 1/2 hour hearing later....!!

So long story....but that's how I got it.

I do know that a friend of mine had a stipulation in her divorce that her WH could not introduce the OW for 1 year. I 'm not sure how she was able to. But it may be possible.

I feel fortunate to have recieved this, and I really think the kids have been protected because of it. It certainly has put a damper on WH's plans for Fantasy World!!
