I was wondering if anyone has ever seen scratches on their husbands back that they know they did not put there? He has no explanation for how they got there and I have been trying to think of ways they could have gotten there besides the obvious. In the past there have been other unexplainable things happen. What would most women think? Am I just not wanting to believe it? Help!!!

Its painful to think someone you love is betraying you so your first reaction is to deny the possibility.

Read up on on things that might suggest your spouse is having an affair.

Odds are many of them will apply to your situation.

The following link has info on "signs of infidelity". It doesn't mention scratches, but they WERE mentioned in a list in Ann Landers column last week. http://www.saveyourmarriagecentral....%20Spouse%20Might%20Be%20Unfaithful.doc.
Ahh... HERE's the thread I was looking for: 50 signs your spouse is having an affair (All found on this board) and one NOT found on that list: an increased interest in sex with you (though a decreased interest is a more common sign.)

I don't know if this will help, but there can be reasons why scratches appear on his back that can't be attributed to a woman putting them there.

I once noticed that the rough edge of my bath towel was scratching my back when I was drying off in the morning. When I felt them later due to sweat causing a sting I looked in the mirror. They looked like finger nail scratches.

I'm not saying that this is what has happened in your case. I'm just presenting what happened in mine.
