I have to see him today to discuss some health insurance policies we are thinking of changing. Should I tell him I suspect he is getting intimate with her, not just boarding a room from her like he told my daughter the other day. He got mad when she said about leaving me to go back to her. Why can't he face the fact of what he is doing to this whole family. Is her [censored] lined with gold that he is blinded to the reality of things and how it will affect the grandchildren, his adult children. I can't see letting him off the hook and ignoring all that we know. Its like we are becoming liers too just like him, and to save his face......... And I would like to know how serious this is....Do I have the right to ask that too....?????????

Surprise him. DON'T bring up his affair or his behavior. Stick to business.

He'll wonder what you're up to.

Mystery is good. Don't give any answers. Just the facts on the insurance then leave. Have a purpose - some place to be.

See, Lefty - you're totally predictable right now. He's expecting that you've followed him and found out where he was. He'll be expecting a confrontation. He has to be as addicted to the drama as you are.

Break free. Stay sober today. Just for today, don't imbibe the drama of his behavior.

don't confront until you have verifiable proof. you've gone to him with your suspicions and needling and drama and games all along. has any of it worked so far?

have you done any of the reading that chris-ca has suggested to you (numerous times) on your other thread? if not, you'd be wise to do so. otherwise the soap opera that's your life will drag on and on and on.
