The artist formerly known as Uncomfortably Numb. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />

In case anyone is courious, there's a few reasons why I've made this decision. First, because the old name was SO LONG. Second, because of its length, most people referred to me as UN anyway. Finally, because I've seen some posts recently by Comfortably Numb (apparently another Pink Floyd fan) <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="images/icons/cool.gif" /> , and the names are WAY too similar.

So there ya go. I am offically UN from now on. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

I'll work on the world peace thing in my spare time too. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />

"There is no pain you are receding
A distant ship, smoke on the horizon.
You are only coming through in waves.
Your lips move but I can't hear what you're saying.
When I was a child
I caught a fleeting glimpse
Out of the corner of my eye.
I turned to look but it was gone
I cannot put my finger on it now
The child is grown,
The dream is gone.
I have become UN." <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

ROFL at all of ya'! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

O: Yep, in Plan B, and feeling better and stronger than I have in, oh, 3 months at least.

It's not my ideal life situation, but it's much easier than I thought it'd be. It's amazing how quickly my mindset changed once I actually took that step and sent that Plan B Letter.

Well, that and getting all of the stuff belonging to the kids and my wife stored in the 2 bedrooms that had belonged to the kids. This way, I'm not constantly being bombarded by "everything that's missing in my life" right now.

And hows y'all doin' out there?

Pretty fair, riding the flying pigs.

Still in a battle with H about what our M should look like...I think we both have different ideas. It doesn't get too much better in recovery, it's definitely a rollercoaster. Enjoy the stillness while you can.

Hello, hello, hello,
Is there anybody in there?
Just nod if you can hear me.
Is there anyone home?

Come on, now.
I hear you’re feeling down.
Well I can ease your pain,
Get you on your feet again.

Relax.
I need some information first.
Just the basic facts:
Can you show me where it hurts?

There is no pain, you are receding.
A distant ship’s smoke on the horizon.
You are only coming through in waves.
Your lips move but I can’t hear what you’re sayin’.
When I was a child I had a fever.
My hands felt just like two balloons.
Now I got that feeling once again.
I can’t explain, you would not understand.
This is not how I am.
I have become comfortably numb. . .

And I'm glad I don't feel this way too often anymore:

Day after day,
Our love turns gray,
Like the skin on a dying man.
And night after night,
We pretend it’s all right,
But I have grown older,
And you have grown colder,
And nothing is very much fun, anymore.
And I can feel,
One of all my turns coming on.
I feel,
Cold as a razor blade,
Tight as a tourniquet,
Dry as a funeral drum.

"And now for something completely different..."

I'm doing ok.I had a couple setbacks recently but am hanging in there. There may be some cracks forming in the WH A bubble so I will stay in my Plan B and see what happens.
