I've been having this urge to email OM and tell him what I think of him. I don't really think I should but I've never really told him how I feel. Is this a really bad idea? I know he will let my W read the email if he doesn't like what I say, but at this point, I'm not sure if I care or not... Maybe I should just vent here instead.......

Please vent here. He won't care how you feel and you don't need to set yourself up for mockery and ridicule. We care how you feel; vent to US.

I absolutely agree with MelodyLane's sage advice. Why open yourself up to more lies, ridicule & insults? Best to continue to vent here where we actually *do* care, have suffered through similar situations and are in a position to offer moral support and guidance.
Also, if you're sure he will let your wife read the email, all you'll have done is put them into position to conspire against you. You will reinforce them as a "unit" and further alienate yourself from your wife. Please don't add fuel to the fire out of anger. Maintain your dignity. Any conversation with this OM is *way* beneath your standards.
You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I had a brief phone conversation with the OM in which I asked him to no longer contact my wife so that we could work on rebuilding our marriage. His reply was a bunch of static.
The only good thing that came out of the conversation was to confirm my belief that he is a slimball jerk, and that I am the good guy.

listen to what everyone else is saying. Yes, it will give WS and OM a chance to conspire against you and talk about you even more. It ALWAYS backfires against you trust me.
In my case when I first confronted my W (she was having an Internet A), I go online and sent a message to OM saying that I am gonna come visit him instead of her (she was making plans to go across the world to see him) and break his neck. A couple of days later, W said it was not a humane thing to do, that OM was hurt by my words and that I should APOLOGIZE. Can you believe that?
I come from Russia and that's what people do to men who take their women. I've done it several times (not literally breaking their necks, but just kicking them around) and the only time it works is when a woman got involved w/someone to see you protect her... stupid kid game...
Don't do it. I would however talk to his friends and relatives and let them know that he is breaking up a family...
Good luck
