Oh, my gosh.
The funniest thing happened today on the way to the market. No, just joking. Actually it was at the neighborhood Quick Pick. I never stop anywhere if I see her or any member of her family. I simply don't need the stress. But today she was parked on the other side of the building. I didn't see her. So I stopped and was about to enter when one of H's and my(and hers)former co-workers exited the building. He was a supervisor as was my H. I said hello and he asked me about my new truck H got for me last week, as it was sitting right in front of the building. He saw me get out of it. It is the one I have always wanted. 2004 extended cab, short box f150 with ALL the candy. Charcoal grey. Truly beautiful. H bought it for me to ceebrate the end of my chemo and being cancer-free. Anyway, he kept glancing back at the door rather nervously, I thought. Out walks OW and her sister. He practicaly shouted, "Well it is so good to see how well you guys are doing, but you had better make sure the alarm is on so none of the white trash around here scratches that truck. Her mouth dropped, she turned every shade of red. She practically ran to her truck and drove off.
I think alot of times when co-workers know what a cheating spouse is doing they neither approve or know what to do. Well score 1 for an old friend and about 1000 points for me. Instead of being devastated by seeing her there 2 feet from me he turned my cloudy day into a definate burst of sunshine.
Tonight when my H got home I told him what Bud said, and he cracked a grin and said "well he is right you know. She is trash. And once again reminded me that a long time ago he told me I have more class in my little finger than she has in her whole body. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> 3-4 years ago, even later it would have hurt to see her.
