Hey Kam!

How are you? I/we are doing good. Some days even great.

Things have changed alot around here. I still have my days were I obsess over the A (one year d-day was Jan 17th), wondering how, why, etc.

Most days things are really good. He is trying very hard to meet my needs and I'm trying really hard to meet his.

We still have alot of work to do in resolving conflict. But it's a work in progress.

I just finished reading "5 Languages of Love" by Chapman. Great book! I now know why, no matter how hard he tried, he wasn't being success in meeting my needs. He was meeting the wrong one as my primary one...he thinks gifts are it and it's not.

I am equally divided between "Quality time" and "Acts of Service".

I can't wait for him to read it. I think his is "physical touch". When he's done reading he'll tell me.

Great book, though. Helped me understand alot. He expresses love in the easiest way he knows how...dinners out, weekends away, roses, etc.

I love these things but they don's "speak" to me that he loves me.

It's really cool..

I've also noticed that when we get into a disagreement (aka. arugment) he gets really loud, I'm not used to that. But I'm glad he is expressing himself. It'll take time to learn how to how to do it without sooo much emotion

Kids are all back in public school as of tomorrow, except oldest, he has a job and is getting ready to start college in the fall. I will be a free woman as of tomorrow!!

Got a new car...cool Jeep Laredo (special edition ) Love it!

We actually POJA'd the income tax money and it was great! I got what I wanted and so did he. It was awesome.

hhhmmmm, what else...

Christmas was kind of tough emotionally, because last year he was still with her and it made it hard to handle the holidays. But he was so kind and loving and so sorry for all of it.

We had a pretty good christmas...used a big portion of the income tax money and bought the kids clothes, etc. as christmas presents.

All in all life is really good and I'm very happy. We still have our moments when something will happen and I'm ready to throw in the towel, it's hopeless he will never change, yadda, yadda, but they are farther and fewer inbetween. And I've learned to just keep it to myself most of the time, until the "crazies" pass.

Glad I made your day...hehehe...

I still lurk alot but don't usually post much these days.

I know we still have a long way to go but I feel like for the first time that we are actually moving in the right direction.
