Hey guys maybe we can come up with some great ideas to make people feel happy about thie situations, which in turn will make them more attractive to be around. What kind of things could we do to make life fun again and show the spouses they need to take a second look at us (If we wil have them back) LOL. Example buy a new suit and goto a show...or buy a new dress and go to dinner...or have a water balloon fight or donate time to habitat for humaity....what types of thing can we do to add some joy at this time of desperation and pain. I for one want to look as good and happy as possible if I see my wife walking down the road and I am having a better time then they are. Thanks

Jogging... it does a body good.
It was simply amazing to me how fast I could run, and how long I could continue running in those first 6-12 months following d-day.
Not sure what I was running from (??)... but it sure helped with the anger/stress/anxiety.
Meditation and tennis lessons worked wonders as well. Oh, and the new haircut, manicures, and endless drawer-fulls of sexy underwear helped keep me feeling devilishly adorable !

I find running a great stress reliever.I hope to be competing in road races again in the spring. Another thing I'm doing is restoring "her" 68 Camaro that she left behind and I'm doing it "my" way!

Exercise is a great thing to do. My personal favorites are Denise Austin (30 minute show every day on Lifetime TV) and taekwondo with one of my daughters.
Also painting some of the rooms in the house and giving them a "facelift". I like painting, because you can see your progress, it smells good, and everything is so clean and fresh and full of promise when you're done.
