YES I have experienced things similar to those that you mention.

exOW is from Phoenix. It seemed like for months all I saw was those stupid pop-up ads for University of Phoenix Online...

I guess they still pop up but I don't really notice them any more.

I still have some triggers, even after almost 2 years, but they are few and far between. When they do happen it's more of an initial stomach flip followed immediately by "Wow, that was odd - thought I was over that!" My focus has greatly shifted to the relationship my H and I share and how to improve it.

JG - I felt so crazy sometimes too!

This OW would leave voice mail messages to my H and start them all off with "Hey, it's me".

Shortly after I found out about the A, in our fav restaurant, playing Trivia...someone signed on as "itsme". I freaked and started walking around the place looking to see if she was there. Stupid because she lives like 700 miles away. It happened 4 or 5 times total and hasn't happened since.

A couple of months ago, someone registered as "itsme2003" and I freaked. Only saw one or two posts and nothing since.

Just recently went through three weeks of getting all kinds of spam mail with OW's first name and either no last name or different last names. I know it's just spam mail and it is not OW. But geez. Sometimes I feel like someone is trying to play mind games with me.

And I can't tell you how many TV shows that have been on recently that mention the state she lives in. Does everything happen in just that state? LOL

I agree that it always felt like the reminders were more frequent if my H and I were having a rough day (or week!).

It does get better. These kinds of things are starting to bother me less and less.

Some things just stick no matter how hard you try to get away from them.

OM had a white Z71 chevy truck. In the rural south that is akin to having a yellow taxi in New York City. For a long time I could go a few miles through town and see at least 3 or more every single day. Finally learned that his had a white tool box not a silver one. He had two attenaes on his roof not one. His had a blue front license plate and a "My Kids An Honor Student At X Elementary" on the back.

His name was Michael. Who has been in the headlines like crazy lately? Mr. Jackson.

We saw a string of movies either rented or at the theatre recently. Bad Boys I and II we rented the first and saw the second. Along with Underworld all have a main character with the name Michael.

We just moved into a new home and need alot of those "touches" like silk flowers and other arts and crafts type items. Who is the major arts and craft chain in town....Michaels.

Our favorite vacation spots are Orlando and Atlanta but they are tainted now because she went to trade shows with him to both those cities.

Two Fridays in a row we where taking the kids for a family outing and crossed paths with his wife.

There are times when it seems like the reminders are everywhere. But then again there are times when there are absolutely no reminders.

Its like one person said when you first buy a car you think there aren't whole lot of them on the road. But after one week of owning that car it seems like they are everywhere. Triggers can be like that.

I don't want to start a war, but I would be very careful about reading much into signs and horiscopes.

I think what is happening in your sensitivity to anything that reminds you of the affair. I know that is happening to me. You would not believe the number of times the OM's name pops up here and there. Is it more often than normal? NO! I just notice it more becuase it triggers bad memories. Since my WW is gone and may for all I know be in OM's arms at this very minute, those memories are not very good. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="images/icons/frown.gif" />
