what im doing is getting my hubby the dog he has been wanting. very exclusive breeder and phenominal pups. (doberman) i will kidnap him and drive him the 2 hours blindfolded(or for however long he lets me), i have pre arranged for the pup to be ready, yes i have been conspiring this for awhile.

he will be floored. it has been something we were planning, just not until spring. so i moved it up. and have done all the hard work in getting ready, so he can just enjoy his new baby.

oh, and by the way, the new baby will grow to be about 140lbs. so if hubby doesnt behave i can allways feed him to the dog!!!

I was thinking more along the lines of tar and feathers! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="images/icons/mad.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" />

Ok, ok....enough of the pity party.

As a man I know I love little things with lace the littlier the better! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />

A nice dinner and a nice hotel with a jacuzzi tub would be my recommendation.

Here's what I intend to do for Valentine's Day:

Get a big basket (decorated for Valentine's) and fill with all kinds of goodies(has a sweet tooth). I am also going to buy him a lighter and have it inscribed with something. I chose the lighter because I bought him one on our first Christmas together (when we were 18 years old) and had it engraved with his initials. He used it for several years and when it started to break, he put it up to save but got lost when we moved one time. He has mentioned quite alot about how he hated that it was lost. I figured this was a good time to remind him about how far we have come from our beginning so many years ago.

And, of course not to forget that all important valentine with a personal inscription about how much I love him and how much our years together mean to me.

Don't know about anything else just yet but know that this is definitely the year for some creativity! Racking my brain. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

Thank you for the idea's. It's kinda funny, the thread that I was told to go to was posted by my Hubby!! Anyways just wanted to tell woundedlioness that I also got my H a lighter with his initials engraved on it for out first christmas together when he was 17! Kinda funny huh?? I have already done a lot, but since the holiday falls on a weekend I cant fill his truck with balloons again! (btw dont ever do that if the vehicle is a stick shift!)
More suggestions are welcome by the way....
