When my wife got back from Palm Springs...Wow. Things are at a new level for us. I did not see this coming. There has only been one bad time between the two of us.

We have talked more in depth and more often in the last 12 days than in our whole marriage(3 +yrs). We have a better understanding of ourselves and each other. This is all do to the honesty and openness we have now.

Things have been wonderful...better than we could ask for in the short time that we have had.

My W continues to work from home but not without some obsticals. She has to continue some contact with OM(business only). I get uncomfortable with it but i do understand that it has to happen. W tells me when she talks to him for any reason. That makes me feel better.

Most of the obsticals come from other co-workers. W needs some support from co-workers but they do not seem to want to give it in a timely manner. Some of them do not understand why she would want to be away from the office. They seem to have resentment towards her. They also pressure her to return but W still does not want to. The pressure is tough for her and is adding stress to a sressful situation. Anyone have any advice for us...for her?

You and your W have obligations to the family, work home and yourselves. Based on this you prioritize between the 2 of you which comes 1st, 2nd .....etc.

Then you will know what to do. As for the coworkers, tell them that as long as she gets her job done and it is allowed for her to do it at home, it s/b ok with them otherwise they may have to do more. Gotta know how to babble back to dumb mouths.

Do you both have a good MC? It maybe good to setup a session or 2 with Cerri, Jennifer or Steve here at MB. The phone counseling sessions are done right in the comfort of your own home.

Glad to hear you 2 are working together. It still can be a bit rough but you are on the right track.

take care,
L.
