Scored a 18 only because she doesn't listen to the radio anymore so I had no clue what she would be listening too.

In the past I could have said either a Travis Tritt, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw CD or a country station.

I am familar with her religious beliefs. We attend she professes to believe. But during some the really rough times as her sex abuse/rape issues came out she would in anguish say "There is no God...he never would allow this to happen to a little girl." It bothered me at first. I talked to our pastor and MC (who is very religious but leaves it that aspect out of her therapy for the most part-will suggest praying but doesn't push) and they both said God is big enough to take when one of his children is angry at him. Made sense as she was acting like a kid who felt they were just unfairly grounded.

Some of those questions didn't have a "right" answer for us. H and I are both a bit eclectic in our tastes in music and food, for example. Neither of us would look at a particular section of a menu first or listen to a specific station at any given time.

This one kind of hurt me: "I can quote three things my partner says to me that he or she says to no one else in this world." I know he doesn't currently say these things to anyone else, but I fear he may have said them during his A's.

Another trigger: "I can identify the obstacles that my partner believes are preventing him from getting what he wants." Reminded me of that lovely time period when I would have said "me" in response to it.

The triggers are losing their power over time, but you can see they're still here.

Dobie don't feel bad about the "sayings"

Two of mine were "I'm so sorry if I could take it undo it I would" and "I would give my life for you if it would take away your pain". The third was she calls me her "Pookie Doodle" not exactly Pulitzer prize sayings. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />

You are so brave to publicly post that she calls you Pookie Doodle! Still giggling after reading that...

stunned-dad,

What a coincidence. My H said nearly the same thing when I tried calling him Pookie Doodle.

Thanks for the humor. I needed it today.
