Hi folks, Auto here.
As some of you know my wife left me. She has an apartment and now sees the OM several times a month when he drives or flies down to see her.
I have been seriously considering Plan B since we have mostly separted our finances for the short term and our son is no longer an issue as he is well on his way to being a Marine.
However, I am constantly hounded by the thought that we never were able to talk things out. You see my wife gave me a note which told me she was leaving me and then refused to talk about our marriage. This has left me hanging as I feel I have not done all that I can to save our marriage. In the last few weeks she has indicated a willingness to meet and talk. I don't know if it is due to left-over affection for me or lonliness or whatever.
I did manage to do what I think was a very good Plan A.
OK, I realize that I will NOT be able to talk her out of anything in the short term. But, I wish to plant a few seeds for her to think about.
So, I am planning to meet with her several times over the next month and tell her what I think happened in our marriage, how we both made mistakes and how I believe we can build a new and better marriage. No LBs, just what I think and feel. If she seems reasonable I may extend the talking time a few more weeks or even a month. I don't want to arficially limit things.
You see in this way I think that I can possibley get her thinking about reconciliation. At the very least I will know that I have done all that I can to reason and work with her.
I can't go in to a Plan B until I do this. After I do this I think that Plan B, if it is necessary, will be easier for me to do.
Your thoughts, suggestions and comments are welcome.
Thanks All of You.
