I am just wondering if any one can give me some feedback on them? Did you ask WS to take one? What has been your experiences? And what types of things am I looking for to find a good examiner? I think I will ask h to take one if he doesn't admit to more. If by any small chance any of you are in the Central Florida area and have nay recommendatins please let me know. A few years ago when h and I were still dating and had some trust issues I had asked him to take one and he agreed at that time but I never went through with it- he seemed forthcoming with inf... but it is different now. Anyways- I believe thewy had quoted me around $300 is that th eususal rate? Thanks for any feeedback. Linda

We live in Central Florida and my H has taken two polygraphs. First he failed and second he passed (after confessing remaining detail). I can't remember who we used but private detective agencies are the best place to start, most of them retain polygraph examiners. If you do a search on the in recovery forum you will see lots of my posts on our polygraph experiences. I know someone posted to me in the last couple of weeks over there regarding this topic. Yes that price is about right.

Polygraphs are pretty reliable.
The questions asked have to be black and white answer types. In other words you can't expect to ask did you love this person because the word love is open to many different interpretations. But you could ask did you have intercourse with this person because there is only a yes or no answer.
Most polygraph tests allow you to ask 3 yes or no type questions max so its not like you can do a blow by blow interrogation.
I think a polygraph is best used when the question is cut and dry and the sense of an honest answer is a must like did you or did you not have sex with the OP.
