I recently posted this on EN but a friend of mine said I should really be posting it on this forum for you guys. I hope it helps!

This morning on the radio station I listen to they had their usual segment, "war of the roses..." It is where a disc jockey calls a spouse and tells him he has won a free dozen roses, no cost, no obligation, just if they love the roses buy from them in the future...then finds out who he'd send the roses to.

This morning the lady caller said her husband cheated 4 years ago and that the last two weeks he is exhibiting the same behavior as he did then and she is really worried.

So they call the guy and he sends them to his wife with a note, "This is surprise #1, just wait for surprise #2..."

So then they tell him he is on War of the Roses and his wife is on the phone...So come to find out what he was doing for two weeks was looking for her a new car as hers was very old and he wanted her to have a new one but wanted to surprise her and that last night he signed the papers and it will be delivered to her tomorrow...

Instead of getting upset with her for checking to make sure he was being faithful he apologized and said, "I am so sorry, I would never want to put you through that again."

In talking to him the disc jockeys grilled him and the guy basically said that they went to counseling for months, he was warned that he would have to prove himself a lot and that he caused to mistrust because of his error...He said that he is harder on himself than his wife has ever been and that he knows it is something he caused in her. He also stated he can see now how the behavior he displayed would send off another red flag and he feels so bad for that.

He sounded so nice, so honest and so sorry for what he did. WHAT A GUY!!!! This renewed my faith that there is hope even if they cheat. I think a lot of it is wanting to change and finding the right marriage counselor.

Cute story and I wish that Radio Stations would do things like that here too. (Europe)

A "Cheater" can definately change and I've got proof for that. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />
