I only went one quarter to VSC out of high school before rebelling against the world and striking out on my own. Came back winter quarter 1980 and graduated fall quater 1984.
So yeah we were there at the same time for close to 3 1/2 years.

Stunned Dad
This it too weird. I was there from '79 to '83. What if we knew each other. Tell me that you dated one girl or no one all through college. What if we went out. My H attended VSC, too.
What if you know him and could tell me, "I can't belive you married that guy". "I could have told you that it would work out that way."
I'm a little leary of "coming out".
I'll think on it.
I do miss the south. Are the azaelas and dogwoods blooming? The big bumble bees.
Take care MK

Actually I did date very little in college. I was working full time and going to school full time. That left little time for much of anything else. Dated a handful of women but none of them for very long. I just didn't have the time for anything serious and wasn't the type to date just to be dating. Had lots of girl-space-friends at the time.
My major was speech communications so I had a BFA.
My mother was a professor in the education department teaching early childhood and general education classes.
Yes the dogwoods and azaleas are in full bloom....got a wife and two kids wheezing and sneezing from alergies to prove it.
You wouldn't believe the boom VSU went through after we graduated. Nearly 11,000 students this semester--they dumped the quarter system many years ago.
Again if I am not being nosy....
What were you and your husband's majors? And what small towns were you both from?
Bet you remember voting your junior or senior year whether to have a football team. Well they are now national powers in football. Spent most of last season ranked number one and finished second in the country if I am remember correctly. [ March 15, 2004, 11:53 PM: Message edited by: stunned-dad-fast recovering ]

Hi SD
I majored in Bus Ed. and my H was an Accounting major. My sister attended VSC too and she was an early childhood major.
It's a small world.
I checked out the MB photo thread and sorry to say I didn't recognize you. Who knows, it was a small school.

I was a business major with minor in marketing my first two years before changing. Had the first accounting course and a few marketing courses in the hall accross from hospital away from main campus.
If you were a Bus Ed major then you were in the Education building.
My mother was Dr. Tucker (remarried name not my last name) so I was often in and out of that building. Your sister may recall my mom as mother was there for 25 years before retiring.
I spent fall of 84 over in that building getting a bunch of electives I needed to graduate in December.
Took two BE courses BE 200 typing and BE 215 office or business human relations. Plus I took a pysch course as well so I spent all of fall 1984 in the Ed building.
Small world indeed.
