For all of you that have spouses that are more atuned to using computers you need to be careful that you aren't leaving a Web site history trail for them to follow.
This is especially important for those of you who come here to vent. If you leave a history trail on the computer they can easily click on the specific MB page and see the entry that you posted.
To erase do the following:
With your browser eg. Microsoft Internet open click on Tools up on the toolbar. Choose Internet Options. Click on the Clear History bar. Also set the Days to keep pages in history counter to 0 days.
Once you click the Clear History bar you should be set. To check to make sure you can either click on the Histoy icon on the toolbar or hit the Control key at the same time as the H key and the history will come up on the left hand side. If some of you MB history is still there you can manually right click on each entry and click delete.
Coversely this is a simple way to check up on WS/FWS to see what web sites they are visiting unless of course they are aware of the history trail themselves.

Interesting:
I did went to the Tools icon and clicked on it and got the following message:
This operation has cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator.
Now I can click on the history icon....the clock looking one. I can right click on a day or website and delete the history that way....is that normal or has somebody been tinkering with this computer to see what I am doing??? Things make me go hmmmm......

I've never come accross that.
Do you and your W have seperate computer log on passwords that set up all of the preferences for each of you individually when each of you log on to the computer? If so then your W has probably been set up as the administrator. That's typically why you get that message.
If there is no seperate log in for you and your wife then I don't know.
As you said you can still go to the History and individually delete the MB sites.
How computer literate is your W?

That usually means that your log on name isn't given 'admistrator' rights. You can change that in the control panel - but I believe you have to be logged in under a user that has administrative priveleges.
