It has been 4 mos since the discovery. We have been working to rebuild our marriage. My H, did not want to go to MC or disclose much. So I went to IC and read self help. H took his own path. We are of different cultures and religions. I do believe that he is working it through his way.
My problem is rummination about the affair. This is hurtful and unproductive for me.
I will have an internal dialog that will say " he had an affair." Sometimes I try to answer back... yes, he did, but he is choosing me.
When I am busy with other things it doesn't come up. I am in nursing school and the program is demanding. Lately though the intrusive thought has interupted my studies. Any thoughts on how to diminish the intrusive thought would be greatly appreciated.
