I posted a topic yesterday morning but haven't received much response. For those of you who have responded, thank you.

I just wanted to share that coming through 4 months of 'post-war' recovery I think we are making progress! We had a very nice night yesterday. Conversation was comfortable and there was even affectionate interaction - without feeling forces or awkward.

This morning couldn't have been even better. For the first time in a long time, I woke up in my H's arms. I can't tell you what a wonderful feeling that is. Two of my favorite things in this world are falling asleep in my H's arms and waking up there too!

I know we have a long way to go still. I hope he gets the support he needs here. I hope we both do. I think this morning was the first morning that I truly felt optimistic about our situation. I know I want to make this work and I know he says he does.

We just may be okay!!!

Sounds very promising. I understand that recovery is very difficult, but worth the effort. Keep posting here, we need to hear some success stories.
