We are going to MB weekend on 4/30. Since WH did n't say he is not going yet, I assume we are still going. Otherwise, our air tickets will be wasted.
Anyway, I need those who are in the area for some idea.
We will arrive Oakland airport, is their any public transportation to go to SF airport, where the seminar will be held?
The seminar ends Sat. afternoon. Please give me some idea for what to do in that evening just me and WH alone. Opera, movie, concert, or anything fun.

Hi L&H,
We are in the south bay. Maybe some MBers would be willing for a short get together? Not sure who from here is going. I will bump up Redhat's thread. We are doing a wine tasting trip on the 17th of April.
Maybe we can get together for dinner or something. Here's my addy: mborchid2@yahoo.com

Go to sfgate.com and scroll down the left-hand column to the entertainment heading. There's never a lack of things to do around here. For public transit, go to bart.gov and sfmuni.com

Hi L&H, The best thing imho to do is drive the area. This is the prettest place in the world. Can you two rent a car for the day?
Nice, quiet drive, see the GGPark (3 miles long, so pretty), GGB (golden gate bridge) and Ft. Point, just under the bridge. Or drive over the bridge north and visit Marin Co, Sausilito and Tiburon. WOW! Or drive down south towards Pacifica, STUNNING cliff views, have a nice lunch outside, watching the ocean. You're about 2 hrs from Napa, get up early do some tastings and have a lunch outside?
I like the outside stuff best. I cant bond with my H if we're watching a show. There's not a ton to do if your limited to the Oak airport area, but if you are, let me know... I'll put on my thinking cap.
I hope you get to come, it's really nice. Take care - Dru

Thank you friends. We will stay in the SF airport Shareaton. The seminar runs from Fri eve till Sat afternoon. We will leave Sun afternoon, so there is not much time to drive around even I love to. We just have to find something to do Sat evening. Sun morning we need to spend time with in-laws.
