I didn't really prepare for this one. I'm running out of things to say. I've tried. everything I have brought up in her office just gets left there. We don't resolve anything and don't really try once out of her office. I'm going to keep going for now but I'm not sure it's helping. My big issue is honesty. I'm not getting that from him and I'm losing hope of ever getting it.
It's also important to me that he realizes (WAKES UP and realizes) that his OW had an agenda the very first time she told him how unhappy she was with her husband. I'm no psychologist but I can figure out the basics on my own this is a woman that jumps from one man to the next, leaving one only when she has the next sucker hooked in to help her out financially. she CHOSE him because he was the only one there that had any money! It was her INTENT to break up our marriage right from the start. She wanted my life, not my marriage because she wasn't really interested in him and only needed him until she could find a replacement (which she did) she just wanted to live better than she could afford on her own. He was used and we (his family) were just unfortunate casualties that didn't matter.
Someone here (a WS, probably 2ofAkind) told an UH to ask himself if his OW would still be there if he was stripped down to nothing. Would she be there if he lost his job? If he lost all assets? Would she be there if he got sick and needed taken care of? I would like to ask my H these things. I KNOW that he knows she wouldn't have had anything to do with him if he were poor. On the flip side, would *I* be there if he lost his job? Would I be there if we had to live together in the trailer park accross from the flea bag bar he met her at? You bet I would!
Any married person needs to understand that when someone of the opposite sex is crying to you about how awful their husband/wife is they have an agenda! I believe my H had one too..to have sex with her but hers was to reel in the next sucker.
