I think that's a postive step, it shows that he is interested in what I have to say even though he has heard most of it from me already.

He is a serial cheater. he had several affairs when we were very young at the beginning of our marriage, then about 15 years of faithfulness until 4 years ago. 4 years ago he had another affair and last year another, he left me for the last one and we are now trying to reconcile.

Today the MC told him he has to figure out what causes him to stray or he WILL do it again. He has no answers. I have theories but MC said I have to stop giving my opinion on this and make him figure it out for himself. She asked about stressers (triggers? I guess?) asked him to try and figure out what was going on in his life/mind at the time of the affairs, particularly the last two. He can't give me answers that he doesn't know. His assignment this week is to try and figure it out.

Are there any men here that have had more than one affair? if so, why do you think you did it?
