And you just have to consistently PROVE to him over a long period of time that you love him and that you are trustworthy.

See, right now he doesn't trust you and your recent actions have DEMONSTRATED to him that you DON'T love him. So, it will take alot of work to overcome the damage you have caused.

Will he come here and talk to us? We could help him.

tlh,
Listen to Melody, she is right and knows what she is talking about. You must be very patient and loving. Your words mean very little now, so your actions over a long period of time will make a diference. I saw Uphill's reply. It was not trying yo bring guilt, but rather some insight. Don't expect too much too soon. You will progress over time, but your first priority is keeping H in the home. If he leaves, your opportunities to meet his needs are reduced. Try to appeal to him. Let him vent (not physically) and stay quiet. Don't defend your position. Just love him and give it time.

Christ's Love,
