Okay, I have some phone #s and one I can find on info space but the rest are cell #s so I can't get any info. What do I say if I call them? Say it is a guy, I guess I wouldn't care but what if a woman answers, could be the wife of a guy friend and so I don't want to jump to conclusions. I also don't want H to find out I have been spying on him.... Any hints on how to go about this?

I got my through #.
Got to fone search on the web. That will tell you if it is a cell phone for sure. Ask for someone, and make conversation. example: I was looking for a friend I think this was her number have you had this number for long and so on.
I'm with you don't let H know you are looking for info.
