Well, I have realized this Easter all of the things I have to be thankful for. The sunshine, the ocean, healthy kids, etc.

I know I am better off in Plan B, but Zizzy, at least I did not sleep with him. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

Believer said it so well:

"Hehe. Yes I did expect an untrustworthy person to be trustworthy. Also I am teaching my cat to bark.
So far he has not barked."

Believer, this is toooooo funny! You have a real talent for expressing hard truths humorously.

I'm printing this one out and putting it on my refrigerator--I need the reminder AND the laugh!!

Thanks and take care Believer

Saw my WH as i was driving back home. I gave him a huge smile and i thought he barely look at me. He look so guilty.

But later he sent me this text message 'It was nice seeing you just now eventhough just a brief glance. Missed your smile.' I did not reply to that message... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> let him miss me...i hope he miss me...the more he misses me the better.. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

I am sorry believer. You have helped so many people on here and you do not deserve this. Your husband seems to have taken advantage of your giving nature. Your head was in a good place and you gave him an inch and he did not reciprocate.

You have a right to know the stat of your finances.

Anyway just sending you lots of higs, prayers and support.

Thanks everyone. It only took me one day to feel better this time. And zizzy - Yes, at least I didn't do THAT!!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

I decided to take the higher road, and not wallow in the mud with WH.

Oh Believer. I know you will pull yourself up by your bootstraps, just as we all have done, and be a better person for all of it.

While you are spending this time making yourself so much better, he is just stagnant and wallowing in nastiness.

You have done everything to be his lighthouse in every way, and it is now up to him to realize that. I will pray that God shines His light of truth and love in your WH's shadowed heart.

Lots of love and support and HUGS!

OH, Believer, I just read everything in this thread. My heart goes out to you.

I feel so selfish myself not replying in your thread. You've helped me so much. I know that I couldn't offer much help, but at least I should tried to comfort you. I am so glad that so many friends are pitching in. It prooved that you are worthy, helpful and nice. GOD is sending all the love to you in this way. Just like what you told me, put WH in the back burner. I think that asking for 15% more next time is a good idea. I am also glad to see you back to normal now.

Lots of love and hugs.

Believer:

I'm so sorry to learn of the recent turn of events. When you confronted him about access to the bank account, it doesn't surprise me that he reactly angrily. You see, he was trapped and caught in another lie.

Obviously, he didn't want to get caught. That's part of the deception for both you and him. Chances are, if he doesn't get caught, then he thinks there nothing wrong with it, although deep down inside, I suspect his core values tell him something differently. He was probably more angry with himself than at you -- but sadly, you were the target of the anger.

I hope you had a nice Easter. And yes, count the true blessings that you have including the strength in dealing with this mess.

All the best.

Lostbird -

Well, I had one day of sadness, but got over it really quickly. I want to thank you for all of your advice. I feel like a better person now. I encourage WH to try again for retirement and he will be retiring on the 30th.

So I have the pleasure of feeling like I have been a good helpmate to him. If he still chooses OW, I can accept that. I know that I have taken the higher road.

What's up with you? Have you started your own counseling business? Please stick with us, we need you.
