Hi everyone,

I'm new here. I'm glad to have found this website and discussion board. Yes, I'm from the Netherlands. I will introduce myself and my/our situation at a later time but right now I would like to ask a question about the Love Bank.

I would think that infidelity would logically be something that would make the most withdrawals from the BS's Love Bank.
Then why do I still love my WW so deeply?

Because you had a huge account. She withdrew a lot! But she didn't empty the account.

I understand how you feel <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="images/icons/frown.gif" /> I loved/love my husband so deeply that I have taken a lot of withdrawals from the love bank. I guess it depends partly on how much was there to begin with. If you didn't love her so much this would have emptied the "bank".

Dutchboy,
That's a question asked many times over. I've said it before..and I'll say it again...after the discovery of an A...I see 3 distinct options for the BS....they are as follows:

#1. The ones that won't walk away, want to forgive, want to move past and and restore something you believe in.

#2. The ones that immediately call the attorney and never look back.

#3. The ones that don't care, are in a marriage that doesn't contain love and trust to begin with, so everyone cohabitates, and lives individual lives.

You are here...with US..in Group 1. Keep reading, and perhaps you'll find out more about what your feeling and why...especially since we are all exactly where you are at.

I think it depends also on your committment to the marriage. My lovebank was fairly empty to begin with, but I kept thinking things would get better. I even discussed it with my WH, and he promised things would get better. Little did I know that he was already involved in an affair.
