Hi Folks,
Just thought I would post my own update for those who check in.
After not seeing the homewrecker(HW) for about 2 1/2 months since his last "good bye",I feel confident that she flew in to see my WH this past weekend.I was crushed.I thought if she would disappear or get tired of waiting this disgusting A would dwindle but no.She is a very desperate disgusting woman and she is waiting waiting for whatever she can get.She doesn't even live in the same country(Toronto).
So,I am in the process of filing for a Legal Separation,WH knows this and has been starting to fill out the paperwork we received from our Mediator.WH is living with his boss who is single(has a girlfriend) and started at a new job 3 hours away so he will be seeing the kids 3 weekends out of the month.
The other weekend off he claims is for errands and whatever but I don't believe that for a second. If once a month is all that WH and HW can see each other I guess she is willing to put up with that.I told WH that we would have to discuss where he would have his time with our girls because it's not going to be here at the home.I don't want him staying here and getting a fix from me and then taking off back to bachelorhood.
So in a way I am going back into my Plan B and maintaining very limited contact to e-mails about the fianances/kids although he always manages to talk about other stuff so I have to put a stop to that pronto.
I figure a Legal Separation is the best option right now.I need to protect myself financially and so far WH has agreed to not try and change anything regarding that.He was also notified again that I will not tolerate the HW being anywhere near my children and if he wants to fight me on that I will fight tooth and nail.He agreed though that he wouldn't do that and he hasn't thus far.He also said that he feels a separation is best too so we can figure out what we should do about our marriage(yeah right). And here is one for the fogese topic posted by hopelessinNY:
WH:"I think a separation is best so I can give you back the respect you deserve from dealing with a cheating husband". Ugh.
Meanwhile,I continue to have the love and support of my In-Laws and SIL.They are SO supportive and are disgusted with WH and what he is doing and continue to reassure me that the HW will never be welcomed into the family.I can't say how much that has meant to me.That in itself gets me through the hardest days.I am blessed for thier support.
I have to admit that it's been very hard lately thinking of WH as sick and in a fog.I have had such urges to file D on him and cut away this sickening mess I am in.But,I think I will get the Legal separation paperwork done, park myself in a solid Plan B and go about living my life and see what happens. My WH wanted to talk about us and our marriage but I told him we could talk again once he has told me that he has ended the A and that he wants to come back to me,work on our marriage and be a family again. It doesn't look good but out of respect to my marriage,my H that may be lost out there,my kids and my in-laws who will be very upset if we do D,I am willing to wait, just a bit longer.
Thanks for listening.

Sounds like a good plan to me. He should get the point sooner or later. Hopefully it will be sooner.
I'm still in my Plan B. WH does contact me every 10 days. I don't talk about our relationship any more - I guess that's because we don't have one. I ask about the kids, his family, and then continue mopping the floor, or whatever I'm doing.
Plan B, as bad a one as I've done, has really helped me. I have a whole new life.

O, wishing you much strength in this time of your life. i must admit i'm jealous of the support you have from your IL's. maybe i would have more support if there was kids involved, don't know and will never know. i don't feel like i have anything really to add for advice but i continue to pray for you as well as everyone here at MB.

Hi Ladies,
Believer,
You always crack me up. But I also know how hard this has been for you.You have been a pillar of strength for me on this board.
Roughroad,
I'm not sure I have posted to you much but I have been following your story.I am sorry to hear about your In law situation.I just don't get it with some people. If one of my daughters happened to be in an A I wouldn't support it either.especialy the OP now that I am very educated about Infidelity. And yes,I think having children has made this especially painful and disgusting(on part of my WH) which reflects the support I am getting. My girls are very close to their Grandparents.
You have have been so kind to everyone praying for them and I know how much you are hurting.I will continue to say my prayers for you and everyone here at MB and keep trying to help others.
O

Good luck with your plan... Sounds solid to me.
I'm glad you are not rushing into a divorce based on your emotional rollercoaster! GOOD FOR YOU!!!!
You are using your principles well, and choosing wisely.
