I haven't been here for awhile. All was going pretty well with marriage. Caught husband in lie. Yesturday checked my e-mail. Received e-mail stating e-mail was being returned because it was an unknown address. Subject was Hi. It didn't have context of e-mail in returned mail. Questioned H. Said he had no clue. somebody just got our password. I checked mail sent. No record but I do know it can be deleted because sometimes I clean out my e-mail file. He then told me to change password in computer because someone probaby got our password but I'm very leary. I did have an e-mail returned once but I put the wrong e-mail address in.
After being a husband for awhile, he didn't want to make love anymore because he was always tired. VERY unusual for him and I caught him in a lie again, his excuse was he knew it bothered me so he didn't want to discuss it so he avoided it. History of lies regarding other women.
I did have an e-mail returned once because I did type the wrong address in.
Any input regarding e-mail?

It's quite possible it was a virus attachment. There are a few going around, and even though you have virus protection, attaches to your email addy book and sends stuff out unbeknownst to you! It happened to me. The subject "Hi" is a common one for these viruses.

Ditto - thought my W was doing the same thing. Had the email details (addresses found in properties) checked out by a friend who is in the internet business, and it was an attempt to hijack email (hotmail). Initially I was concerned about these emails (3 in 2 days), but not any more.

Had enuff,
I think it might have been spam.My WH gets a lot of messages from companies trying to sell him Viagra and all kinds of smut and a few times a day,the e-mail is addressed to him and it sounds very personal, like they know him(i.e Hey,how are you? or Please get back to me or just Hi.).I have checked this out before and it was almost always junk.
Maybe that's what happened.

I agree with the others.
I get e-mail that has Re: as if it is replying to one of my e-mails but the addresses are strange.
I was told by my computer shop to NOT even open them because they may have virus's attached.
There is one that is similar to what you said, that it says it is a returned e-mail with the address unknown but it is a spam for sure!
Julie <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" /> If he was up to something, he would have his own e-mail address and his own secret password. E-mail addresses are FREE on Yahoo and a person could have as many as they wanted!

Yes, there are a lot of viruses that are disguised as failed e-mails.
So if you don't recall sending that e-mail, certainly don't open any attachments.
My first bit of advice is:
STOP USING MICROSOFT WINDOWS!!!! (Yes, I work for a major competitor of Microsoft, LOL)
However, if you are addicted to Windows, then by all means, get a good anti-virus program, keep it updated.
Stop installing all of those kool tools in your browser. At the very least, stop using IE and start using Netscape or Mozilla for both web browsing and E-Mail.
