Hi!

Let's share by recommending good books we have read on understanding As and rebuilding our Ms. Hopefully this will help others who are facing the same crisis.

I liked:

Private Lies by Frank Pittman
Real eye opener! Good thorough analysis on As. Different types and different profiles of WS examined with statistics. Covers effects of A related divorce on young and adult children with some advice on dealing with infidelity. Most thought provoking for me is trying to identify my H's type, to see the possibilities of A occuring again in future. It helps that Pittman has a good sense of humor!

Relationship Rescue by Phillip McGraw
Yep, it's the tell-it-like-it-is fella from Oprah. Read this before I found MB. What did this book tell me? I LBed my relationship to H3LL. Word for word. Has some questionaire on where your R is and lots of good exercises. Debunks myths on Rs and knocked some good sense into my head.

Power of A Praying Wife by Stormie Omartian
I learnt that to have a good husband, you must first be a good wife. Let God work on both of you while you pray. Has prayers for many aspects of a Christian husband. With 'sample' prayer for everyday of the month. When all fails, pray and wait!!

PS. Sorry, I can't say I've read MB/Harley books. Can't find them in the local (Asia) bookstores.

Torn Asunder is a great book. It describes "the message of the affair". Different people have different reasons for having an A, and it helps to figure out the reason.
