My son and I live in Virginia Beach, VA. We are expected to receive Hurricane Floyd in the next couple of hours. My h called this morning to see if we were ok, but he is going to ride out the storm at his place. I am scared and alone. I guess I could have asked my H to come home and be here with us, but my pride would not let me. Please say a prayer for my and my son. Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you and we lift up our friend Viki, her son and all those in the path of this storm that is headed in their direction. Father we know that Jesus had power over the wind and waves , Your Word says we will do the things He did, therefore using His name the most powerful name there is , and the authority that He has given us as Children of the Most High God, we speak to this storm, and we command it to do no further harm. Father, we thank You for being with Viki, and ask that you calm her fears, You know how difficult it is for her to face this alone, be with her Father, let her feel the power and peace of Your Spirit , comfort her Lord in all things.
