W just got prescribed Celexa yesterday. Doc said it was a good AD, but with no decreased libido side effects. Anyone have any personal experience? Really don't care if her libido drops if it helps shake her outta this ****.

well i have been on celexa myself and thought it was okay but everyone is different. i'm also a nurse and have heard a lot of good things about it. the only thing is that once she starts taking it consistently, it's not one of the AD's that you can just stop cold turkey. i did this and started having heart palpitations and hand numbness. i've also heard this happening to others as well.

so take w/that what you will. i think it's a great start and just remind yourself that these AD's take time and not everyone responds the same way. prayers to you.

I am doing lexipro, a newer form of celexa. So far no sexual side affects and you take a lower dose. It has been very good for me.
