Still getting a lot of fog-talk, but W is now reading the MB site, both concepts and the boards. I guess when I started ticking off all the fog talk that ALL WS use, she was kinda surprised. Anyway, this good news, hope it helps.

Time will tell. However you might not be able to use this board to vent as freely and start learning to communicate w/ each other .

Understand, will gladly trade my tirades on here to real conversations with W. It still cracks me up that she thinks her A was "different".

Sure her A is "different" ... it is not a real love ... it is love in the fogLand .

That is very good news. Hopefully she will start posting here. There are a lot of WS's trying to make there way through. I think it is a very hopeful sign.

How did you get her here? My WH hates computers and can't type. I would love to have him come and read some but he isn't interested in the whole computer thing at all.

My H did not seem interested in posting. He would read all that I printed out, but I never thought he'd want to post.
Last night he said he wanted to start. I think it would be good for him to know there are other WS's on the board who are getting support and help.
I warned him about 2x4's and they do happen (to everyone! including BS's) but they should be helpful ones unless he gets on and posts "I dont know what her problem is..." or something foolish (foggish) like that. He chuckled and said, I think I know better!
I'm excited he is wanting to do this. I hope I can still be honest in my posts knowing he reading them (altho thats the point of HONEST communication right?) I just want him to get out of this board all the help that I have.
betrayedman - It is very promising that your W will be reading and posting! I hope it helps you both - good luck!

She's not posting yet. Don't know if she will. But I showed her the site last nite, and told her to read when I wasn't home so there would be no pressure. She just called and told me that I should not think all is well, still misses the OM, not sure if she will ever get over him, etc. I stayed calm and tryed to explain that this was classic fog talk, and we need to work on US, we can talk about OM later (after some time and her feelings are not so strong). We have a long way to go, but I feel time is my ally.

Betrayed,
How did you introduce MB to WS. My WH wants to talk about how we will restore marriage if he comes back and I said I have a few ideas (he replied that he does too--I'm sure all directed at changes I need to make).
Anyway, even when I try to explain MB quickly with others, they seem turned off that I found it on the internet. And I'm sure my WH will do the same. Do you refer to it as a "program" or what?

Anyway, even when I try to explain MB quickly with others, they seem turned off that I found it on the internet. Tell them their cars are not "real". After all, Ford, GM, Chrysler, etc. all have big presence on the internet.
Marriage Builders is not an "internet" program. It just happens to be a program which has stuff on the internet, the same as every other company in the world. You can read the books and take courses, written by a "real" Dr. (PhD and all) with real world, practical experience. You can attend seminars and get counseling.
Do you refer to it as a "program" or what? Why not?

Since we have exhausted the 1 MC in the area, my IC recommended we try reading a book about marriage, anything to open the dialogue. I suggested MB to W, she knows I go here alot, and said she would give it a shot. She knows that she can't be w/OM, is afraid of divorce, so she is trying to work on us. If your WS is willing to work on the marriage, then I don't see why they wouldn't want to come here. I recomended to my W that she just read the concepts for now, stay away from the boards, it can get pretty brutal here and I know she is not ready for that. Guilt and shame are already messing with her head right now (along with just starting ADs last week and her period 2 days ago) so I want her to ease into this, time we have plenty of.

As cwmac and a lot of other BS's know we can give her so much.
The support from WW's here and BS's here is amazing. I'd love to see her even join in on this post. We'll all be here for her.
BTW there's nothing wrong with 2x4s - they knocked sense into nearly all of us FWW's.
