As many of you know I am 6 months pregnant and my H affair has been devastating to our friends and family. They worry about me and tell me things they probably shouldn't. I know I am in plan B and I shouldn't listen to what they say but it is hard when they call. Everyone is just hoping.
My H has been meeting with our male mutual friends for dinner. Of course, they are shocked and call me to lend support but also tell me about their conversations.
Last night I got a call from a mutual friend. He just had a baby and spoke to my H about how his actions will affect his future. He stated that my H was remorseful. Has been doing a lot of thinking lately and trying to sort things out. He is trying to figure out where he wants his life to go. He also stated that my H teared up when he brought up the fact that he would not be there for my delivery or sons life. I guess he thinks I am going to be really nice about everything. He is getting a wake up call and has complained that I do not call or respond to him. He also stated that he has been seeing OW minimally.
Do you think he is peeking through the fog? Do you think that friends and family make it worse? Of course no one is on his side.

Durham,
In my opinion, your Plan B is working beautifully. He's beginning to understand that he just can't have his cake and eat it, too. He may also be in a very bad or depressed mood right now which is not good for the affair and OW may have been LBing him.
What did he think? That people are going to pat him on the back and say 'good job'? Of course they are not going to be on his side or be happy for his relationship with OW. It's wrong, period!
Keep doing what you are doing, just make sure that he knows that that you are doing Plan B to protect your love for him. You can/will be in contact again once he commits to the marriage and has NC with OW. This is not to hurt him, but rather to protect YOUR feelings for HIM.

Yes, but just a beginning.

No, I don't think so.
Of course no one is on his side.
People will lose respect for him due to his actions... and he's not going to like that.
Good job!
How ya feeling? Any funny little contractions? How BIG are ya? Can you see your feet? Can you shave your legs? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />
