I've emailed a few of the moderators in the past and just recently and have never received a response. I need to edit the title to one of my threads and when i try to do this it says that the time to edit has elapsed. So what do i need to do to get this done? does anyone have any suggestions? thanks

RR, I read one of Just_J's thread and he said that they changed rule recently. You can only edit in 15 min. after you post.

lost is correct, the time limit for editing has been changed to 15 minutes, after that, it's in stone.

RR, You've emailed a few of the mods and never received a reply?
The report post feature is probably a better choice than a direct email to one of us, as report post goes to all the moderators on a thread and there is a space for you to explain.
Sometimes the individual moderators are inactive for a period of time, we usually let each other know by posting on the moderator forum, but do not post it on the forum unless it will be a lengthy time, as I did last month.
There have been some recent problems with some of the mod email links, plus we are inundated with viruses, so if there is any kind of attachment, I personally don't open the email.
This is Justuss' post from a few days ago:
Admin has just informed me there HAS been a new restriction added regarding "editing/deleting" posts.
There is a 15 min time span for editing your posts after the post has been "sent." Please consider using the "Preview" feature before entering "send" to correct spelling errors, grammar, checking links, etc.
And please think carefully BEFORE you post. Does your post actually say what you want it to say? Need to soften the tone? Too much information? Use of profanity? Careful! You only have a few minutes to change it.
Any questions, email me...

Arch - what's the motivation behind this restriction?
What problem does it fix?
I can no longer edit my "standing" posts - when new/better information can be provided.
See the link below in my sig line for an example.

The "moderator" links at the top of the page have not been functional in quite a while. The only "workable" email links now seem to be on the main Intro to the MarriageBuilders Forums page.
In the interm,,please keep my email address handy for ANY problems, concerns or questions. I am online EVERYDAY, several times a day and WILL get back to yoU!!
I have had several emails recently asking about the edit feature. I have forwarded those questions to Admin and we are waiting for a reply. As soon as we get a definative answer, I will post it...or Admin will do so. I also posted the reply Arch quoted on several threads lately, asking for editing answers.
WAT, I also saw your post on the Tech/Feedback forum and was waiting to see if there would be a reply with the answers.
In the meanwhile, if you need help edting a post and your time limit has expired, feel free to email me and I can still edit it.
As Arch said, if you need us, either click on the Moderator Alert on the bottom of the post,,or keep our email addresses handy.
