Yes it can work. But you need to discuss how any children will be raised. Is he a devout Muslim?

And are you a devout Christian?

If you have been together for 4 years without major problems, it sounds very promising to me.

Believer what a great name for you. We do usually get a long well except when we discuss raising children things start to get intense. I have told him I want my children to be raised in the church he says that the children are suppose to take the faith of the father. But he will be completely supportive of me when the children have major events like baptism etc… And would like me to do the same with his religion. Does any of this make sense?

You need to have it nailed down before you get married. You have to be in complete agreement. My step daughter married a Jewish man and they decided to celebrate all of the holidays, Jewish and Christian. They have 3 children now and she has converted to his religion. They are doing very well together.

First off they are contradicting beliefs so the children will be completely confused. And how could you have the children baptised in a religion to which they do not belong? Baptism is the open committal to CHRISTIANITY, not Islam. It wouldn't make any sense to baptize a Muslim into the Christian faith.

I think it would work as long as you understand that you will have give up your own beliefs. Can you do that? Can you not believe what you know to be true? I sure couldn't.
