Hoping you are out there ML...or anyone else who can chime in here PLEASE!

Just an update - most of you know my story (in one way or the other) and what a mess today was (if you know what I mean). I am feeling very hopeful. My WH is posting here and things seem to be going good. We are communicating better than ever before. I feel very positive about things right now.

There is only one thing that bothers me and that is that my WH says he is "giving me a chance" and every one keeps riping him a part for it. I guess it does hurt me that he can't change that right now but I feel that he is still in withdrawl from OW and that is all I can expect. I understand that withdrawl is tough and we have to work through it. Is this still a symptom of withdrawl??

How can I make things easier on him during this process? I really think that MB site is helping him (although I will admit he is spending more time on here than he is with me (hello where are my 15 hours a week?? )

having, I guess I don't see the issue with his statement that he is "giving it a chance." That is just a literal definition of what is happening. He is giving you a chance and you are giving him a chance.

I don't see the issue either but people are giving him a real hard time on his posts about it. I feel like it is a start and that is a good thing huh?? It seems like the fog is lifting but it will take awhile and NC has just resumed. Any suggestions on making it through the withdrawl??

We are communicating better and starting to work on us. Guess what we are selling the house and moving!! Also another plus.

HH, glad you are selling the house! The only suggestion I have is to keep the 2x4's in the closet and help him withdraw. If you learn to meet his needs, he will grow to love you again as he withdraws. Help him along until he has something to give. It will come!

Hope -

I hope your keeping strong. My advise is don't read his threads, they maybe hurtful while he is going through w/d. My WH at one point told me a few months ago that the pain I was in over him was the same he felt for OW. It was so damaging - all fogtalk, but it hurt. Now, WH thinks it was never love.

My prayers are with you both
