I believe I read on here a few days ago someone suggesting Oprah is guilty of a double standard in the way she treats men guilty of infidelity.
It sparked my interest as I saw her last week with several men who came on to the show with their spouses. She was sort of in their face asking them "WHAT were you thinking at that moment? or..."Did you realize how this would hurt your sons?"
I noticed that today (May 21) Lionel Richie is suppose to be on...to confess his past sins in this area. I will be curious to see how she treats him? (Has she ever had Bill Clinton on? And if so, wonder how she dealt with him as well.)
I had never really noticed this until I read that post last week. I'm anxious to take some 'mental notes' now.
I know she does a lot of good for people, but she is almost becoming a religion unto herself.
Has anyone else noticed a double standard here?
