I survived my visit with the attorney. I is such crap that we have to pay for what our S has done. It was very business like. I was empowered but also frienghtened. Who would have thought at 7 months pregnant I would be in an attorneys office asking about D. That's how it goes I guess.
I heard that OW will be getting her son for the next two weeks. She usually only sees him every other weekend. Should be interesting. I hope they spend lots of family time together. As far as I know my H hasn't even met her son. Atleast it will take them somewhat out of the fantasy world. Also is my birthday this weekend. I am leaving town with my family. I hope he doesn't send me any stupid card before I leave.

whoa.. this could be a powerful wakeup call for him so STAY DARK, durham! Being around the OW's son will really make him think about his own child and your B-day will make him feel guilty.

Girl...I agree WHOLEHEARTEDLY with Melody....you HAVE TO HAVE TO HAVE TO stay dark as dark. Mother's day KILLED him. Now, he is going to see OW with son, if he is pesky, or your WH doesn't like how OW handles him, he could be thinking "Well, me and my wife would not allow that, or handle things that way." If he is great, a joy, a love to be around, he will be thinking "Gee...isn't this great. I am involved with this kids Mom, and I shouldn't be, my very presence here is confusing and hurtful to this kid, and my very presence here is sabatoging my future relationship with my OWN kid." AND...with your B-Day....MAN...I could not have HOPED for a better scenario!!!!!!!!!!!

DARK DARK DARK DARK DARK DARK DARK DARK DARK DARK DARK...you can do this!

I felt the same when I visited the attorney, minus the pregnancy. I simply could not believe I was there, that our M had come to that.

After, I felt empowered and not fearful. I think that by taking the initiative, finding out the facts (instead of just the fears in my head) took the mystery out of the whole thing.

I thought, "D is just a piece of paper. It doesn't change how I feel and believe. I'm going to be OK."

And some weeeks later, H came home. I think lessening my anxiety about something he kept talking about that made me upset, helped him realize what he was missing.

Strange. Only when I prepared myself for D, did the immediate threat of it go away.

Good luck to you. I agree with the darkness - all of this will be making your WH think.

You go girl!

That is good news about OW's child coming to visit. I love children, and always have kids around, and always have. But others people's kids can be very annoying if you are not used to kids underfoot.

This will be a good thing for your marriage. Stay dark. WH will start wondering what in heck he has done.

Happy Birthday. Try to have a nice time this weekend.
