Excuse me for asking this question, and I hope that I've put it into the correct forum....

Does anyone know of a website that has information or a support group for people who are dealing with a very revengeful/just doesn't quit type of OP?

My husband and I are dealing with a crazy OW, similiar to Glenn Close in the movie Fatal Attraction, and it's really affecting our recovery. We have an appointment with a lawyer today to file a restraining order against her.

I'm hoping that this restraining order will send her a message to leave us alone, but I have a feeling that this will only slow her down, not stop her. She's very relentless.

It's a very long story, but she's claiming that she's pregnant by my husband, yet refuses to show us proof that she is pregnant. Originally, she had told my husband that she had had it aborted, yet changed her mind a month later. Since we DO NOT have any contact with her, except through her daily emails (which we don't respond to), we don't know the truth, and I'm having a problem with understanding why she is so persistent?

What state do you live in? Recently, my states have adopted "harrassment laws" which would allow you to file criminal charges.

Oops, I forgot to say the state I live in...it's Wisconsin.

I've looked at the harassment/stalking laws for our state, but I can't seem to find a message board or support group to help me deal with this.

I'm just hoping to find someplace in which I can learn why she's doing this and how other people (in a similar situation) have dealt with it and kept their sanity.
